Important: If you choose invoice as the payment method when ordering, you must transfer the amount to PayPal and not to scheppach GmbH. You will receive an e-mail and invoice directly from PayPal. After you have received the goods that you ordered, follow the payment instructions in the e-mail that PayPal sent to you. You do not require a PayPal account for this. As soon as your order is complete, you receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This e-mail is only an order notification and is not binding.

After we have processed your order and on the next working day at the latest, you will receive a binding order confirmation by e-mail, which states your order number and the bank details (required for prepayment).

Furthermore, the order confirmation specifies the expected delivery date (specified in calendar weeks) and the shipping method for your order (parcel service or courier).

The goods are reserved for you once you receive the binding order confirmation!
For prepaid orders, the reservation period is 14 days until receipt of payment!
If we have not received payment by then, your order will be cancelled.

Shipping costs and free delivery:
As of an order value of 500.00 EUR including VAT, we deliver free of charge.

Germany - parcel service items of up to 31.5 kg: 4.90 EUR including VAT.

Austria- parcel service items of up to 31.5 kg: 8.90 EUR including VAT.

Germany and Austria - courier items: 29.90 EUR including VAT.

 

We would like to inform you that we only deliver within Germany and Austria.

Deliveries by courier are performed upon agreement from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:00. Deliveries after 16:00 are not possible.

The delivery dates are agreed upon with the courier.

The delivery address must be in Germany or Austria.

The method of shipping for your order is specified in the binding order confirmation that is sent to you by e-mail:

Delivery time: Parcel service (DPD) approx. 2 - 3 working days.

After the package has been despatched to you, you will receive an e-mail from us containing the tracking links to track the package.


Courier approx. 5 - 7 working days

Deliveries by courier are performed upon agreement from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:00. Deliveries after 16:00 are not possible.

The delivery date is agreed upon with the courier.


Please provide a valid telephone number together with your order, which can be used to reach you. This is required for any queries and for deliveries by courier. (The delivery date is agreed upon by telephone.) If you do not provide a telephone number, the delivery can be delayed.

Note: Our items are sent from different warehouses and therefore, items may be delivered separately.

You are obliged to check the goods immediately upon delivery for obvious defects, particularly with regard to completeness and transport damage, and to note this on the delivery note from the courier or have the driver countersign.
After accepting the goods, you as the customer are responsible for their condition.
Further complaints can then no longer be accepted.

View order:

Unless you have ordered as a guest, you can view your order at any time in your customer account.
Furthermore, you can see all order details on your order confirmation that you receive by e-mail after placing your order.

 

Cancelling the order:

You can view your order in your customer account. If it has not yet been processed, you can click “Cancel order” to cancel the order.

If the cancellation was successful, you will receive a cancellation confirmation by e-mail.

 

Withdrawal:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without specifying the reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you who is not the carrier took ownership of the goods.
In order to exercise your right to withdrawal, you must inform us,

of your decision to withdraw from this contract in a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, a fax or an e-mail).

In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send us the notification of exercising your right to withdrawal before the withdrawal period elapses.

If you have received an inadequate delivery or a faulty product, simply contact us via complaint form.

Please specify the order number as the subject and attach photos of the faulty product. We can then allocate and process your complaint quicker.

The legally prescribed warranty period of 24 months applies.

However, if you have not found the suitable spare part, please contact us via our service form.

If you have lost the operating manual or require it digitally, you can request it free of charge from shop@scheppach.com.

If you withdraw from your contract, we must return all payments that we have received from you including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from you choosing a different delivery method to the low cost standard delivery that we offer) without delay and within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
We will pay your refund to the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless we have explicitly agreed upon something else with you; you will never be charged fees due to this refund.
We can refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you can prove that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

As part of the application procedure, we process the following personal data:

  • Your basic data (such as forename, surname, name affixes, date of birth)
  • if necessary, work permit / residence permit
  • contact data (such as home address, (mobile) phone number, e-mail address)
  • skill data (e.g. special knowledge and skills)
  • if relevant for the advertised position: health suitability
  • Further data from the application documents

 

Your personal data will basically be collected directly from you as part of the recruitment process, particularly from the application documents, the interview and the personnel questionnaire.

 

We process your data in accordance with the provisions in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

First and foremost, data is processed to justify the employment relationship. The predominant legal basis for this is Article 88 (1) of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 26, Paragraph 1 of the BDSG.

Your data will only be processed to fill the correct position for which you have applied.

If you wish to be included in our applicant pool in the event of a rejection, we require a declaration of consent from you.

If your application is to be considered for other open positions in the company, we require a declaration of consent from you for this.

If we choose to employ you, we will transfer your application documents to your personnel folder. After the end of the employment relationship, those personal data which we are obliged to store will continue to be stored. This regularly results from legal reporting and retention obligations that are specified in the German Commercial Code and the German fiscal code. The storage periods are then up to ten years. Furthermore, personal data may be stored for the period during which claims can be made against us (limitation period of three or up to thirty years).

 

In the event of a rejection, your application documents will be deleted no later than six months after the application procedure is complete unless you have consented to us storing them for a longer period (applicant pool).

Within our company, only the people and bodies (e.g. technical department, works council, representative body for disabled employees) involved in the decision regarding your employment will receive your personal data.

You have the rights from Articles 15 – 22 of the GDPR:
