Rotary Clubs visit the Scheppach logistics center in Günzburg
On May 23, 2025, the Scheppach logistics center in Günzburg opened its doors to 80 guests from the Rotary Clubs of Augsburg, Friedberg and Günzburg. During the visit, the participants were given exciting insights into modern logistics, the wide range of products and the corporate development of Scheppach GmbH.
After arriving together, the executive partner Mr. Ernst Pfaff gave the official welcome. This was immediately followed by a guided tour of the logistics center, during which the guests were able to experience the logistics processes as well as the storage and shipping processes live on site in groups.
Following this, a presentation round took place, in which key areas of the company were introduced. Mr. Pfaff looked back on the past few years since the takeover of Scheppach. Managing Director Stephan Müller then presented current company key figures, the development of the product portfolio and the company's social commitment. The round was supplemented by a contribution from authorized signatory and CIO Peter Krauß, who gave an outlook on the digital development and the status of IT at Scheppach.
A special highlight of the afternoon was the product exhibition in the logistics center. A broad assortment of the current range was presented there - including the powerful 20 V battery series, modern ride-on lawn mowers and a compact mini excavator. The exhibition offered guests the opportunity to inspect the devices at close quarters and find out about their functions and areas of application. The exchange with the contact persons on site was actively used.
The event ended in a relaxed atmosphere with refreshments and stimulating discussions.
