Charity run in Strasbourg

Scheppach in the fight against breast cancer

On 07/10/2018, this year’s “La Strasbourgeoise” charity run in the fight against breast cancer took place in Strasbourg. 11,700 participants in pink shirts took on the five kilometre route through Strasbourg for a good cause. One in eight women are at risk of breast cancer these days. The charity run is an information and awareness raising campaign, as early anticipation, prevention and raising awareness will help us to fight the disease better.

La Strasbourgeoise

“La Strasbourgeoise” is organised by the Strasbourg Racing Association Europe (ACSE) and the Strasbourg recreational authority in cooperation with Lilly. Five euro is donated per participant. Since its founding in 2010, donations of more than 285,000 euro have been collected in the fight against breast cancer. In order to support breast cancer research and in the hope that there will be a cure found for breast cancer one day, four employees from our subsidiary SCHEPPACH France SARL took part in this year's run.
