Scheppach brings joy: donation of soft toys to the Günzburg Outpatient Children’s and Youth Palliative Care Association
Once again this year, Scheppach has demonstrated its social commitment by supporting the Malteser’s outpatient children’s and youth palliative care association in Günzburg with a generous donation of goods: in spring 2026, 2,000 soft toy dinosaurs were handed over.
Sylvia-Maria Braunwarth, Head and Coordinator of the Outpatient Hospice Service, and Alexander Pereira, Managing Director of the Malteser in Augsburg, expressed their heartfelt thanks to Stephan W. Müller, Managing Director of the Scheppach Group and long-standing member of the Malteser Advisory Board, for this valuable support.
The soft toys are intended to offer comfort to the children and young people supported by the hospice service and to give them hope in difficult times. From now on, the Malteser will pass the dinosaurs on to their charges and their families in the district – and in the years to come, the soft toys will remain a loving symbol of solidarity and support.
The Malteser in Günzburg offer a wide range of services for people of all ages. A particular focus is on the care and support of older residents. At the same time, the Malteser are committed to helping seriously ill and bereaved children, young people and their families, as well as senior citizens, through the ‘Herzenswunsch’ ambulance and the outpatient children’s and youth hospice service. In addition to professional help and psychosocial support, regular training courses are offered for volunteers and innovative projects are launched.
With this donation, Scheppach aims not only to offer hope and comfort, but also to draw attention to the important work of the Malteser in Günzburg and to attract further supporters and volunteers.
