News from Scheppach’s Production Department – a clear commitment to “Made in Germany”
Scheppach GmbH recently invested 1.5 million Euros in a new punch-laser combination machine made by Trumpf. A clear commitment to Germany as a production location. This continues almost 100 years of manufacturing tradition in the area of wood processing machines, emphasizing the unique selling point “Made in Germany”, which sets Scheppach apart from its competitors when it comes to firewood cutting machines.
Every year, several thousand rocking log saws, special conveyor technology for firewood and a range of precision circular table saws are made in the production facilities in Ichenhausen
The modern plant in Germany, including punch-laser machines, welding robots and an automatic coating system, is constantly being expanded. In this way, Scheppach highlights its many years of expertise which also influence product upgrades of commercial goods. All products that are part of the Scheppach portfolio are still being designed and developed at the company’s headquarters in Bavaria.
In order to reduce the company’s carbon footprint, Scheppach utilises the power for its plant almost exclusively from its own PV system. As an innovative, global production and commercial enterprise, the company constantly aims to drive an environmentally friendly recycling economy. This also includes a sustainable energy supply that protects resources.
