We connect this slogan with more than our products; we also associate GOOD WORKING with ourselves. Good cooperation, health, and a productive working environment are only part of the important values we believe in!

scheppach’s core business is the production and sale of wood processing machinery. During the coronavirus pandemic, the company also started to sell face coverings. Stephan W. Müller, scheppach CEO, described the donation of the FFP2 masks to the University Hospital as “unique for us on this scale.”

Erlangen University Hospital has a well-established strategy relating to masks: If a patient who has tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus cannot wear a face mask – e.g. because of a serious respiratory condition – the staff will wear an FFP2 mask. FFP2 masks are also mandatory when in contact with all coronavirus patients. “On average, we’re currently using 15,000 FFP2 masks per week,” reports Reinhard Galsterer, Deputy Commercial Director at Erlangen University Hospital. “This comprehensive donation is therefore incredibly helpful to protect our staff from coronavirus in the best way possible for about two months.”
