scheppach supports the District Youth Orchestra, part of the Allgäu-Swabian Music Association
Young people in particular had to face huge challenges during the coronavirus pandemic, limiting social life to a minimum. scheppach from Ichenhausen has therefore donated €1,500 to Günzburg District Youth Orchestra, part of the Allgäu-Swabian Music Association. The District Youth Orchestra is one of the flagships of active music culture in the Günzburg region. The cheque was handed to Robert Strobel, Chairman of the Allgäu-Swabian Music Association, District 12 Günzburg, who is also the first Mayor of Ichenhausen.
Under the artistic direction of their conductor Christian Weng, the young musicians from the District Youth Orchestra develop extraordinary concert programmes and innovative concepts. This included, for example, a creative concert in the context of the pandemic’s development, in co-operation with professional partners who supplied lighting and sound recordings.
“As a regional company, we take our social responsibility very seriously. That’s why we felt it was particularly important to support the region’s young musicians during the times of the coronavirus pandemic,” explained scheppach’s CEO Stephan W. Müller.
The symbolic hand-over of the cheque took place with just a small group of people present: from left to right - Christian Weng, Michael Fritz, Robert Strobel (first Mayor of Ichenhausen, Chairman of the Allgäu-Swabian Music Association, District 12 Günzburg), Stephan W. Müller (CEO, Scheppach).
